About us

The Bricklayers Arms is a family friendly, pet friendly village pub. We have a restaurant which provides traditional English pub fayre using fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Snacks are also available from the bar, as is a large variety of drinks including Bateman's Real Ale.

In addition to the Bar & Restaurant, we have a very large beer garden with games & a play area for the kids to enjoy. We also have a large car park to the rear of the building.

Had the Carvery today, best one I have had. Could not fault it. Lots of Meat, everything was fresh. Staff were very friendly. Will be back.

Nice atmospheric pub, a little tired from the outside, until you enter this charming space. The meal portions maybe too big, as just couldn't manage a sweet. Great service ! Recommended.

Stopped off for lunch, we hadn’t been for a while. As before, a warm welcome and lovely food. A large cod and ham and eggs (perfectly cooked) were gratefully received. Chips are fab. This place is also immaculately clean. Will be back soon!

Fantastic meal here with my wife and 3 children. Food was delicious, waitress was friendly and helpful and the pub had an authentic feel to it. We are not from the area and could not believe how reasonable the prices were here! Would definitely return if ever visiting the area again.

Fantastic meal, prompt service and a warm atmosphere. Having just moved to the area we were able to book a table at short notice. Greeted by friendly staff and the food was delicious. Large portions at reasonable prices. Will be returning!
