B&T brewery is located in the town of Shefford, Bedfordshire. B&T began brewing as an independent brewer in 1982 under the name Banks & Taylor's, with the aim to produce traditional cask ales using only the finest raw materials.
In 1994 Banks & Taylor's became B&T Brewery Ltd and continues to produce top quality, award winning cask ales today. Using traditional methods and a combination of pale, wheat, crystal and roast malts along with Challenger, Golding's and Cascade whole hops, B&T are able to produce over 30 different beers, each with their own distinct character and flavour.
Seasonal specials are produced to celebrate or commemorate the many different traditions, folk laws and historical events that have taken place locally. B&T are proud to be independent brewers and members of SIBA thus striving to supply cask ales that reflect the growing trend for quality and choice that our customers expect.

Went for their (first?) comedy night. The comedians were great. Some of the punters were not. This is an honest review of how I felt. And should be taken as such. This is a platform for telling people how you feel about places, events, etc. There was a lot of chatting coming from the bar area, so the acts were fighting against that. It didn't help that the sound system was a little dodgy. I did wonder at one point why these people had actually paid to come at all. In the end, the acts basically played to the people who sat near them. I enjoyed the evening, but I do feel that it should be held in a place that has everyone facing the acts. It may mean that people are listening to them instead of their friends at the bar. It's also fairer on the people who paid their money and actually wanted to hear. I have been to this pub on many occasions for a beer or 3. And I love the place as a pub. But this particular set up didn't work for me as a comedy gig.

Such a friendly pub, dogs really welcome in all areas! Great atmosphere.
Nice old type pub with wooden tables/chairs and lots of real ale pumps with brews I've never heard of, which is brilliant! Lovely atmosphere and friendly bar staff. A nice experience and I'd recommend a visit. Only negative is that the car park is very small, otherwise it would have been an easy 5 stars.
