Everything was exceptional, cosy place with fire place, dog friendly. Place was fully booked for food however John offered us Sunday roast baguettes and they were absolutely delicious! Pub is full of locals. I would highly recommend this place they also looked after my dog and she got some goodies too 😋 🦃
Visited for a family member's birthday on a Monday at 6pm, at the start of opening. Service was friendly and attentive, all food is home cooked, fresh and locally sourced where possible (very lovely and not easy to find). December menu is festive themed and reasonably priced (choice of 2 or 3 courses). In addition, the pub's dog-friendly - hugely valuable to my folks. Everyone had a lovely time, would highly recommend for anyone travelling through Pembrokeshire.
Visited for lunch on Friday. Log fire lit and staff very friendly - all very welcoming and hospitable. Good selection of drinks and food, including a great value specials menu. Meal was nicely presented, tasty and more than we could manage. There was no rush for us to vacate our table once we had finished our meal, so all really relaxing. The inn opening times are limited and tables need to be booked, so it's well worth planning well ahead. Great venue for a Christmas catch-up with friends.
What an absolute find. The Sunday roast was excellent. We had all three meats, lamb, beef & chicken. All delicious, as was the accompanying vegetables and Yorkshire pudding (definitely homemade). Hubby had a pud, I didn't have room. Staff were friendly, our pooch was treated to extra beef. Will revisit when back in this part of the UK.
Really enjoyed my visit it came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. The food is amazing. My black pudding scotch egg starter was outstanding, showing amazing chef skills The halloumi burger looked wicked, and my steak burger was full of flavour. The bar staff are very welcoming. There was a good range alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available i will definitely be back well done 10/10 👏
