After waiting for about 45mins after ordering Mon lunchtime, I decided not to risk eating the obviously undercooked gammon (photo shows it after sending it back to be put under the grill for another five minutes).

Went here for the first time, to celebrate my friends birthday. We received a very warm welcome and showed to the table. We ordered at the bar,and sat having a drink until the food came. Lovely food, nice and hot. My friend Bob has a Brewers Fare card with which they do amazing deals inc a free meal on your birthday. I have my own card now and look forward to making good use of it. Go and try it,highly recommended. Paul Graves

Quite possibly the most disappointing meal I have ever had. I chose the Festive Turkey dinner. We were a very large table of 19 ? 6pm reservation on 03/12/23. The service was very good considering how many of us there were but they managed to forget my grandsons order. I can accept that because these things can happen and the lady that served us was extremely apologetic, giving him a free drink by way of apology...fair enough. But my meal...cold soggy Brussels...a long blonde hair ? in my roast parsnips, the carrots looked ....burnt ? The skin on roast ? potatoes were soggy and luke warm, I didn't touch the peas or the mash potato as they looked lumpy and dry respectively. I ate the turkey slices, the Yorkshire pudding, a couple of parsnips, tried a couple of carrots...I left the rest. I didn't stay for the dessert that came with the order. I won't be back here ever again. I don't know what is going on in your kitchens but I am intrigued to know how anyone can let such a poor standard of food go out to a customer. And before anyone says ' why didn't you bring it to our attention while you were there? ' I didn't want to embarrass my daughter ( who had organised the event for her autistic son's 18th Birthday ) and quite frankly I just wanted to leave at that point. Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I want anyone reading this to be sure it's a fair and honest review. 😞

This is a review specifically for Claire, who was working in the play area. Can I just say what an amazing woman.. Today is my birthday, we came in to let the kids have a run around, and she was extremely lovely. My sister was breast feeding her baby, and Claire offered to get her a comfier chair, and even offered to hold the baby for her whilst we ate our food. My son has autism and can get extremely overwhelmed, she sat with him doing puzzles whilst we ate to help keep him occupied, and was extremely understanding and patient with him, which I never experience any where!! For the first time ever in my life I felt comfortable being out with him knowing I wasn’t being judged. She couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Thank you Claire. All I can say is wow, what an amazing woman. I’ll definitely be coming back in on the days she’s working. (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Things like this make the experience so much better, because of her I had such a lovely birthday (she even put a candle in my brownie after she found out it was my birthday) so thoughtful.

Great experience for a Sunday night meal out after an activity day. Decent menu, friendly staff and received a voucher with % deal off. It's definitely worth signing up to their loyalty scheme and for their emails too. What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to make our dining experience enjoyable. The team member for our table was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions we had. Overall, my Sunday night dining experience at this restaurant was really good. The combination of a varied menu, friendly staff, and the added perk of a voucher with a percentage discount made it a good evening fix after a long day out. Think it would have been a 5 really but they were put of stock on 2 menu options that day, but this happens and is just one of those things..
