Great pub for a drink. Very spacious. The few times we popped in we found the piped music was a bit on the loud side. Sitting by the entrance helped with this as there were no speakers there. It has an accessible entrance and toilet.
Fabulous Sunday lunch and great friendly service. Starters were also delicious. It really was the best roast dinner we’ve had in years. We arrived at 3.30pm and all the roast beef had gone so three of us had chicken and one had belly pork. I’d suggest getting there a bit earlier. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
We recently decided to try this place again after Margaret left we've eaten there for years and had lovely food. We went for Sunday lunch, the plates were swimming in gravy, the beef was placed on top of the very lumpy mashed potato. We were brought a very small plate 3 different vegetables, if an infant was given the same amount he'd complain. A waste of £20 pounds, suffice it to say that we won't be back in the Brewers Arms.
Good sized pub serving food and having plenty of space for dogs to spread into. A couple of beers on tap (Old Speckled Hen and Timothy Taylor Landlord when we visited). We were in on a Sunday and they had some roast potato plates on the bar as bar snacks ... bonus.
I love the front windows. I just had to pop in and see them from the inside. ( And have a quick pint). But the windows are so unusual, I trust they stsy for many others to see, and have a drink
