The Bowling Green is an Irish-run pub with a strong local feel. We have great mix of people including old regulars, young professionals and families. Everyone is welcome.
We pride ourselves on our excellent service, friendly atmosphere and top quality food and drink.
Food is served daily at the following times:
Monday - Friday - Noon till 7.30 pm
Saturday - Sunday - Noon till 7.00 pm
We also cater for a range of functions including Birthdays, Christenings and many other occassions(contact us for further details).

Thank you to all the team at the Bowling Green. We had Mums wake here in January 24. The location was perfect and the food lovely.The Staff were very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend.
It's a lovely location and prior to them packing a gross amount of benches into the back it was a decent beer garden. Could do with better beer selection and the weird ordering/queuing system harks of COVID. But the staff are very friendly and it has lots of outdoor seating
The food was perfect. Homemade cheese pie. Comfortable atmosphere. Play area for children who are welcome until 8.45pm. Service great.
Spent an evening here last night. Fabulous stay room warm big and welcoming. Staff amazing especially Irish Pete who looked after us all night. Irish band amazing. Can't wait till next time. 100% recommend thanks to everyone at bowling green Elise & Mick Kinnear
Love LOVED our stay here. Incredible staff, rooms are so clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend. Very family friendly and great location, close to the tram that takes you into central Manchester. Also, the self service food available is such a great idea, makes breakfast hassle free!
