About us

We opened doors in 2005 and, since then, The Bountiful Cow has been firmly established as favourite amongst the locals. We love our neighbours and for the last twelve years we have sourced all our beef from our local butchers at Smithfield Market (they still celebrate their annual Christmas Party with us today!).

A cozy little restaurant off the main drag. Stayed near by so ideal. Great service, took our order then left us to it. No unnecessary interruptions. Food was simply steak and chips. But cooked perfectly. I honestly can't fault it. Next time I'm in London, I'll be eating here.

Everyone at my table was super impressed with this restaurant, including myself. The starters to the mains were exquisite 👌 Well presented and flavoured together so well. The meat was super tender and flavourful. I haven't had meat like that in a long time. The service we received was very friendly and professional. I also had a sneaky peek at the kitchen and I was blown away at how tidy and squeaky clean it was. It was shinning✨️ I will definitely be telling people about this place and will definitely go there again.

Booked at the last minute for date night - so glad I did. Incredible, super soft steak, big portions and good service. We swapped chips for great mash with no trouble, and the side of mushrooms was delicious too. Nice atmosphere with most tables occupied. We'll be back!

An amazing find off the main road in Holborn. Highly recommended and the food was excellent. Best tasting steak I have had in a while. Independently owned by a couple which makes it special for me.. You can feel the passion for the business and customer care.

I can't rate this highly enough. That was simply the best meal out I've had in many years. I came here from a random Google and boy I'm glad I did. From the perfectly seasoned tomato and mozzarella salad to the unbelievably tender medium rare steak, then the generously portioned cheese board and port, this meal was exquisite from start to finish. If only they had a better stock of bitters this place would be unbeatable. As it is I've already recommended it to several friends and I've not even finished my cheese board yet.
