Regular to boundary house as we live in Methley of which usually amazing and never a single complaint. However slight disappointment tonight as the burger I order was dry enough to be inedible, even after using both kofta sauces to moisten the burger patty to no success, leaving two bites out of the burger. Mentioning it to the wait staff and expecting not to pay full whack for the burger itself (still paying full for my wife, son and the section of the meal I ate as I refuse a free meal).

Fantastic choice of food, great atmosphere and amazing portions! Ate every bit and will be back. Each time I have enjoyed my meal. Last nights meal was fantastic.

Visited for a baby shower and had afternoon tea. Went into a room upstairs which was a lovely private room, but far too many stairs for my mum. Sandwiches were nice, usual afternoon tea arrangements. Desserts / Cakes were different, could’ve done with a card to advise what they were x Service was slow, and had to ask for plates to be cleared. Staff too busy chatting behind the bar.

Homely warm atmosphere. Outstanding quality food & drinks. Regular live events & seasonal/cultural celebrations (food festivals, bonfire celebrations etc... Dog friendly. Amazing in the summer on the open terrace sun trap with some antipasti or fresh mini loaf bread with olive oil & balsamic for dipping and a cocktail, Aperol Spritz or a G&T. Equally nothing better than an autumnal or winter stroll through the trails around Methley, then to The Boundary House, to dream your afternoon away relaxing with a Guinness in front of the open log burning fire.

Upmarket country pub with a decent selection of 3-4 rotating hand pulled ales. We've dined here many times and have had varying experiences but our latest meal was very good. Prices are on the high side for pub food but generally the quality of the dishes reflect the higher cost. The scotch egg was average but the pie was outstanding as was the pork.
