“We have a passion for creating a welcoming environment with great quality food and drink and importantly for turning the pub back into a ‘village hub’, somewhere the community can meet up for great food or just a few drinks.”
We’ve lived in the village for 15 years and supported and worked in the pub for many of those years. Jaap and I feel we understand the type of offering the locals and customers from further afield enjoy and so we are going to do our best to meet your expectations. Our Team are working hard in difficult times to give you a visit to really enjoy. Oakley, our dog, also pops in every so often just to check on us. Please let us know if you have any thoughts or comments that would help us in the coming months. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Great food. I had the belly pork roast, and it's possibly the best Iver ever had. Great staff really helpful and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend
Went here for a birthday meal. The good was divine! Only downside to the food was the baileys creme brulee didn't taste of baileys at all! Staff were lovely and attentive. Pub nicely decorated for Christmas. Tables packed closely together - not sure how wheelchair friendly it would be.
We were a table of 10 who visited for Sunday lunch. I can honestly say that the feedback from everyone in the group was 100% complimentary. There was a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was perfectly cooked, and generously portioned, and the service from the various staff we encountered was top class. This was our first visit to The Boot, but we will definitely be back!
Excellent, inviting atmosphere inside and large beer garden. Good ales on tap. Interesting menu - the food was quite food. I'd feel very lucky to have this as my local!
Excellent food and drinks in a lovely sunny setting with a garden. The food has more to offer than most pub food. The sandwich was fresh and the size was excellent value for money. The pork belly tender and nicely presented. The vegan burger had a lovely tasting sauce/relish. Service is friendly, I'd definitely recommend.
