Our traditional carvery is the stuff of local legend: three perfectly-roasted meats, Yorkshires, stuffing, and as many vegetables as you can eat. There’s a vegetarian roast option every day, and you can also choose to have your carvery with a salad. The little ones are looked after too. Our children’s menu is packed with favourites, all as nutritious as they are tasty.

Went there today. Didn't seem busy but took nearly an hour to be served food. No fried onions on hotdog meal which had a stale brioche bun. Had to wait ages after the meal for nachos only to be served this (pictured) literally the crumbs out the bag. Server came over with red hot onion rings (which she told us) only to be put infront of our 2 year old, we moved pretty quickly before he could touch plate. All food was cold and really poor standard. Service was appalling, even when I told staff. They just don't care here.
Came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. From entering the venue to leaving, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. They were on hand to answer questions and were very quick when it came to clearing plates after each serving. My daughter and her friends had a very enjoyable evening. Thanyou
Visit for new year celebrations. Restaurant gave us a warm welcome on arrival, shown us to our table etc. The entertainment was very good. Very good buffet-lots to choice from hot and cold food. Bar staff very friendly. Was a really magical night.
Popped in today for a pint, ended up having lunch ,Carvery was excellent, can't beat it and the wife had a Tuna cheese melt with chips , both meals were fantastic, while we were there nothing was to much trouble, drinks came over to the table , friendly staff as always, even the Manager had time for a chat ,nice one Dan keep up the great work my friend.
Great pub in an ideal location between Nottingham and Derby. Great choice of food and friendly staff. On-site accommodation, which we stayed in for two nights. Nice comfortable modern room tastefully decorated. Hotel reception is in the pub and has plenty of parking. Part of the Marstons chain.
