I took an elderly neighbour for lunch to The Blue Bowl on her birthday. She was treated like a queen! The food and the service were both outstanding. Thank you.
Lovely dog friendly pub with real ales and great food. We went here with the Motorhome to meet friends and stay for the weekend. Lovely atmosphere with good entertainment. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent on both evenings my friends said breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend for a meal or one of their events that they have.
Great food good atmosphere. Large party of people however slowed the service to almost zero... It wasn't due to staff visiting other tables as they were standing around a lot and not really checking on the rest of us patiently waiting...after waiting an hour for service we cancelled the rest of our order and left. Shame as the food was very good
Had a meal there. Chose it due to Google ratings. Quite nice. Chose the "most popular" dish. Food was filling but not next level. Decor was good but still scope for improvement. Effort has been made on the outside bit, which looks good. . Need to ditch the tables inside the rear entrance etc. Filling pub food but lacks sparkle. I'm sure they will improve over time. However, I want food that's a bit special that I couldn't have knocked up myself. Saying that, it was a reasonably priced dish. I'm always on the look out for great places to eat, to bring others back to. Sadly you only get one chance to shine. Pub very presentable and recently upgraded. Good car park with security.
Had food this evening and it was great. The starters and mains were a decent size and very tasty. Good value for money and service was upbeat and friendly. Also dog friendly with treats and doggie ice cream which is a nice touch!
