On a walking holiday in Kettlewell so used the pub as a watering hole after some good hiking. Ideal location only 2 mins from the accommodation Also had a great meal one evening in the gastro area. Excellent quality. Well worth a visit.

A top notch pub. A really good atmosphere, and very nice food. A really friendly/welcoming manager/team too! Keep up the great work.

Young bar person grumpy ish. South African waiter very nice and friendly. Quite slow service but weren't in a rush so no problem. Food nice. Quite busy by the time we left so booking for Sunday evening meal probably a good idea. The tables outside would make it a great summer evening spot for a drink with a view.

We booked a table on the Thursday for the following evening, the person behind the bar wrote down my name and phone number in a book. Turned up the next night at the right time only to be told we hadn't booked?? It was very busy, we were kept waiting for about twenty minutes but the guy said he couldn't find our booking and that there were no tables available. No alternative but to get take away fish and chips from there (they were good) but very frustrating as we had done a 14 mile walk that day and we were looking forward very much to a good meal in the pub. Shame it was all a bit disorganised with no one really being any help.

Excellent food in this lovely pub with a generous selection of beers/ales. We did wait almost an hour for food, but it was well worth the wait. Excellent Fish, Steak and Ale pie and leg of lamb slices. Prices are slightly about average, but worth every penny. Would go again.
