One of my fave Hull pubs. One of the oldest too. Wish they would consistently supply the brilliant Sam Smith Wheat beer!
Genuine conversation heard inside: "What was that really expensive bubble bath?" "Radox?" "Nur, not Radox. Radox was really expensive." "Mr Sheen?" "Nur, Mr Sheen was for cleaning windows" "Clean your bath at the same time" Genius.
Hidden away down an alleyway. Fine reasonably priced pub. A bit rough and ready but relaxed atmosphere. No phones or laptops allowed. Enjoy a pint here and time travel back to the 70s. Enjoy
The Ye Olde Blue Bell is a traditional unspoiled Sam Smith's pub tucked away down a narrow alleyway between the entrance to the market and the Hepworth Arcade. It's a nice cosy pub with the usual Sam Smith's own brand beers and lagers no guest beers. Like other Sam Smith's pubs no mobile phones or electronic devices allowed, no swearing no music, no dogs.
