The Blind Fiddler is a traditional village pub situated in the heart of East Hertfordshire. We are open 7 days a week and serve food Wednesday, through to Sunday.
We have two dining areas, here at the Fiddler.
You can choose to be seated in our private dining area or, if you would like to get to know the locals a little better (which is always advisable!), there are plenty of tables in the main bar area.
We have facilities for babies & children, including high chairs and boosters.
If you would like to book our private dining area for a function or perhaps a shoot dinner, please contact Barry or Emma and they will be happy to assist you!
We serve a wide range of traditional pub food from Wednesday, through to Sunday!
Come and visit us for a traditional Sunday lunch, served alongside local ales, exquisite wine and deserts to die for!.

Sunday Lunch/Dinner for my family of 8 very good, made welcome a proper local pub. Cant wait to attend their fish day on a Monday.
A little jewel in the countryside. Halloween was close and the place inside and out was full of atmosphere and fun. Locals and staff were great laugh and the food was perfect. Looking forward to a visit at Christmas, the menu is looking really good. The landlord obviously has great pride in everything he does, very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit
First visit a few days ago. Very warm, friendly and the food, (beef brisket+ pulled pork salad) was amazing. Was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Cant wait to go back! 5 stars frkm me
Had a delicious Sunday roast and scrumptious pudding - I had the knickerbocker glory, but others on our table had the chocolate & honeycomb cheesecake which looked divine. We arrived early for our booking (6 adults, 1 child and 1 dog) so expected to wait, but service was excellent and our meals were all on the table in no time at all, which was served before our booking time. We ate in the bar as we had a dog, but the atmosphere was still great. Cannot recommend enough and we look forward to returning another time
This is a nice little country pub. Service is very good (the woman at the bar was really nice), the Christmas decorations are very nice (specially the Christmas town they have built up), and it is very cosy. The Sunday Roast was delicious, it tasted like homemade, but the starters were quite poor. I would say they should improve the product.

Great atmosphere with roaring fires in the winter. Family friendly with play equipment in the garden. Great country pub with mouth watering food and a fantastic range of real ales and extensive wine list. Marquee for functions with takes up to 150 people.

This traditional 200-year-old roadside freehouse was an ale house until 1956. It is an appealing cosy pub with a single bar, no fruit machines or jukebox

In 2014 The Tally Ho was bought by Kevin and Saleesha Hall, who have lovingly refurbished the interior of the pub, whilst retaining many of it's charming original features.
