What a fabulous pub...spacious and spotless with a wide choice of drinks...alex the manager was amazing and so welcoming...honestly couldn't fault the place
If I could give 6 stars I would. Last night my car broke down across the road from The Bless, so while waiting for recovery I went in for the warmth and a pizza (I love a good pizza, so this worked out well) The AA were messing me around for hours, the guy behind the bar offered to help me move/jump start my car once his shift was finished to get it into the carpark that is across the street, to get it out of the way of another car park I was blocking. Overall great staff, great place, great pizza and the Guinness was good. Highly recommend. Thanks for the offer of help!
Visited for the first time, really enjoyed it! Staff were friendly and the d.j was a laugh! Met some new faces and will definitely go again!
Great place to start the night. For me, one of the best pubs in Derby. Plenty of seats and space, and a pool table in the back as well as a larger outdoor space.
First visit since my early 20s.... about 18 years ago, it's the same....but different. Visited mid afternoon on a Saturday and it was fairly quiet and relaxed, had a couple of beers and one of the best pizza's I've eaten. Back in the early 2000s it was the place to be for alternative/Indie music and a great night out....I suspect it's the same now. The range of alcoholic drinks is massive with spirits, wine, cask ales, draft beers, cans, bottles and cider alongside drinks offers. Food is available fairly late and is really good, although I did miss the stotties of my younger days. I suspect that it gets extremely busy and a little messy later on (they're open til 2), I also suspect it's absolutely awesome.
