Renowned for its traditional Irish heritage, Blakes of the Hollow Is one of the most famous and well recognised Victorian pubs in Ireland. It is a must see attraction which has graced Co.Fermanagh’s shores for over 125 years
The bar keeps its tradition to the best of its ability and yet suits all different age groups. The snugs are a testament to this, crowded with groups of people looking for a famously poured pint of Guinness or a delicious Irish coffee.
Live traditional music is played every Friday creating a genuine Irish pub atmosphere that is not one to be missed.
Being one of Co.Fermanaghs oldest pubs, Blakes of the Hollow is heavily linked to Discover Northern Ireland, Ireland’s official tourist board. The pub is also recommended in Georgina Campbell's Jameson Guide and the Rough Guide to Ireland.
‘The Hollow’ as it became known, was bought from the Herbert family in 1929 by Catherine Blake, grandmother of the current owner, for her son William whose name is still proudly displayed on the front façade of the building.
Nestling quietly in the hollow of Church Street, Blake’s is a bar to be celebrated and savoured. The Victorian bar to the front of the building remains pretty much untouched since 1887.
The rear of the building was extensively modernised in the mid 1990’s to include two further bars. The Atrium bar is gothic in style and spread over two floors. Level Seven is more contemporary and used for music events, private parties and disco venue.
The addition of two stylish restaurants, Café Merlot and Restaurant No6, completed the refurbishment.
The Victorian bar is one of the classic pubs of Ireland and was described by an American travel writer thus: “If Irish pubs were churches, Blake’s of ‘The Hollow’ would be the cathedral of them all”.

Beautiful listed building Amazing staff, very friendly and knowledgeable manager with regards to the wide range of whiskeys Blakes has to offer. Relaxed atmosphere with various off set booths. Highly recommended for a visit and if you get a chance, try a few of the recommended whiskeys or gins of the month. For all you Game of throne fans...... See what you can spot within the pub.
Great wee pub! Private snugs (little sitting rooms for my Canuck friends) from days gone by. Hard to find these old pubs. We didn't have food, so I couldn't rate that, but I'm sure it's wonderful. Paula forgot her handbag in the snug, and didn't realize until we walked for an hour. We made it back, and they had it, safe and sound, fully intact. Small town people with integrity! Thanks, folks!
We stopped here for a pint of Guinness. Amazing place, original private cabins to have your drink, nice Halloween decoration. If you are in Enniskillen, you should go there!
The 'hidden' restaurant in the cellar is the real treasure of this place. Never had a good Risotto before. 🙂 Can really recommend it if you are looking for good food with a nice ambience. 👍🏼
Blake’s has been very consistent in how it runs for many years now. Training the new staff well and continually providing the best service is clear to be seen. Always worth a visit when in Enniskillen
