Loved the pub, it’s a real pub with decent staff & customers
Bar staff are brilliant. Very welcoming and conversational. Has a good local pub vibe.
Seemed a nice feeling pub on entering. I walked to the bar,lots of people stood at the bar, not so many occupied tables. A very nice gentleman moved up to allow me access to the bar;and barmaid. I stood waiting,not long at all,while the barmaid busied herself doing what she was doing. While I waited patiently a couple entered the premises and stood at the end of bar. She noticed them immediately,she knew them,and served them. My fault for not having a commanding presence,or being known. Basic barkeeping skills fail. I left the Black Swan and went elsewhere.
Craft Union pub . Plenty of choice, cheap prices. Disco / karaoke Saturdays what a laugh. good staff good beers.
Super nice place! Also lovely staff, Guinness and banter! Thank goodness this pub exists in Ripon is all I can say ATM!

The King William is Ripon's friendliest pub! We have craft ales, a pool table, a beer garden, a real fire and are dog friendly. No food but great bar snacks, good conversation and a warm welcome.
