Very nice food. The squash salad and goats cheese was beautiful, and the polenta cake is one of the best I've had! The staff were quite busy (It was Friday evening to be fair) but they were all really pleasant. Would definitely go back again.
Arrived early had a drink at the beer soaked bar , bar man standing around arms folded. Got to our table of 4 food was late drinks were late. Quality of food poor. The pudding was not cooked properly. They offered a £20. Voucher Discount in Jan/24 no thanks left the voucher behind.
Had duck breast, do not recommend... Small portions and pretty raw... Lacking taste. Service- fine, but could only spend like 2 hours with my friends before we were asked to free up the table and move to the bar. The bartender was so busy that he couldn't coop with orders so it got very messy. Overall a very busy place, however the atmosphere was pretty good... Mid-age people,having a pint but behaving 😃

Nearly 5 star - I recently was in Milton Keynes with some friends and decided to head out of town to grab Sunday dinner. The property is beautiful giving you a real “countryside” feel. There seemed to be plenty of staff and not many customers. So we were looking forward to a steady service. Sadly the service was rather lack lustre, all staff were very polite but seemed to be very distracted which was a shame. It did allow myself and friends to have a good catch up, plus the food was excellent!
