The Black Horse Hotel is a free house pub with bed & breakfast accommodation which resides in Low Town on the edge of the River Severn, Bridgnorth.
Dating back to the 14th Century The Black Horse is a Grade II listed building and provides the setting for the two bars, conservatory, eleven guest rooms, breakfast room and courtyard. Every Saturday evening we offer a range of live entertainment bands and artists. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the pub.

Been a while since been in. Beer is always well kept especially the Bathams. Very welcoming which surprised me. Turns out it is under new management. The previous gaffer always liked to serve his builder mates before others. Much better pub now.

A really nice place, in Lowtown, good selection of beers, with a comfortable interior, there is a beer garden out the back, which is popular in the summer.
Room was clean and warm. It had 2 single beds but no table could fit beside the beds so I had to put my clock etc on the floor. There was no curtain over the window in the door so it let light into the room. We went for breakfast at 9am but there weren't enough eggs for one each, barely any mushrooms and not enough toast. The eggs and toast were cold and the rest of the food was lukewarm. The staff were lovely. I would stay again.
My sister and her husband drink here most of the time. When we come over to Bridgnorth for the day, we come down here with them for an hour or so have a few drinks. They have a lovely sitting area outside for the kids and a giant connect 4 game to play. Nice bar area and a great atmosphere throughout!
