Always had a fantastic meal at the Black Dog with all the staff having great customer service who go above and beyond with food and drink recommendations and with the table service in the lounge it means we just get to sit and relax while visiting. The new MiXR app they have is so rewarding as well and will soon be able to have a free meal and drinks with the points I’ve been getting. Best pub in Bridge of Don by far.

Update- 1st visit of the year. We shared 5 of the small plates, along with a bottle of wine. We also had a dessert each. All good, no complaints and good service as always. Good value. Was in and tried the new festive menu. The Festive Burger, Festive Mac & Cheese, and Turkey Pie all went down well. Good kids menu also. The only thing missing was the discounted drinks with the meal. All good again, though.

We had a lovely very reasonably priced meal, with free drinks included at the Black Dog. Rob was extremely welcoming and helpful, as all the staff have always been when we've visited. The food is always lovely. Two of our group have mobility issues, one in a wheelchair. Easy wheelchair access and disabled facilities.
