Saturday 8th September sees us hosting our annual leek club show. A hotly contested trophy is up for grabs, along with a whole year’s worth of bragging rights. Doors open at noon, with produce on display throughout the afternoon. In the evening, we hold an auction of the leeks, flowers, cakes and much more, and there’s a lovely buffet too. Members are encouraged to bring family and friends. All welcome. less ▼

Between Noon and 1pm tomorrow, 12th May, we are hosting a visit from a vintage vehicle club. Come and have a look at as many as 25 old beauts.. Also, our new Saturday lunchtime menu will be unveiled, offering hot and cold bar favourites plus steaks, paninis and more.

Come along to our village bonfire night next Sunday. The pub will be open as usual and our garden has an excellent view of the bonfire and fireworks. Fire lit at 6pm, fireworks at 6.30pm. This event is free, but please help support the Village hall’s efforts by contributing to the fundraisers rattling buckets.

As we've had an exceptionally difficult year and have had to use our NHS much more than we'd have liked to, we'd like to repay our debt of gratitude by offering a summer-long discount to the Emergency Service staff we all rely on so much. From now until the end of September, we are offering a 10% discount on Sunday Lunch and 40p off a pint of ale, beer or large wine to NHS front line staff, Police, Ambulance and Fire personnel on production of a valid work ID card.
