I recently had a pleasant stay at the Black Bull Hotel Moffat. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and tidy. The hotel's central location in Moffat made it convenient for exploring the area. The amenities, though simple, met my needs. Overall, a good choice for a comfortable stay in Moffat.
Didnt stay in the accommodation and had only booked a table for two. Great pub and all the staff were friendly and attentive .The decor inside was really nice and food was good as well( Haggis pie was beautiful). Will revisit in summer definitely.
We stayed at the Black Bull Inn for one night as a stop off before heading further North, and if we didn’t already have accommodation booked elsewhere we would have been tempted to stay longer! The room was perfect, absolutely spotless clean and comfortable, a good size and nicely decorated. We had dinner and drinks which were lovely, the servers and staff were welcoming and friendly. We had our dog with us and we felt really comfortable taking her here, she absolutely loved the dog goodie box! Thank you for a lovely stay, I’m sure we’ll be back again.
Stayed in a dog friendly room which was a suite opposite the pub - absolutely beautiful. Room furnished to a high standard, bed comfortable. Everything really clean including the bath. We ate in the pub the night before, lovely food, again pub furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was £13 each but food was lovely and the gentleman who served us was attentive and friendly. Great location for Moffat or a stop over on your way through Scotland and would stay again any time!
We stayed in a dog friendly garden room which is excellent as right on the wee lane so easy to take pup out. The room was huge and exceeded expectations the website photos don’t do it justice. Free standing bath in the room was a bonus and so relaxing after a busy day. The whole place was spotless. Breakfast was tasty & excellent service from the waitress. Dinner was a hearty pub meal, we had the haggis pie. Slept really well. Lots of free parking in the surrounding streets. Wanted to stay another night so will definitely return.
