The black bull inn is a family run traditional english pub. For over 400 + years the black bull has been welcoming locals and visitors alike.
The oldest pub in Birstall and one of the oldest buildings in the village the pub was once also used as the local court house and is grad two listed for its historical importance. preserved in our upstairs function room are the original docks.
Once a busy coaching house the pub is now a modern British village pub hidden away in a picturesqe area of the village behind St Peters church over looking Birstall dam. Recently refurbished but still full of character the pub is still as big apart of the community as it ever has been.

I can't leave anything about food as they don't do it but the beer was well kept and the outdoor area is really nice 👍🏻 Friendly service.
Beautiful little beer garden to the rear. Went to see Drag Act Miss Syren. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.
Lovely beer garden and service, I met up with the Route 62 biker's so I cannot comment on the food although we will have a meal there in the next few days.
