Real fire, dog friendly, well cooked, wholesome food, good range of beers and wine. Very handy if you're in the Paddock camp site.

Popped in for a quick drink, ended up having lunch. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Really nice atmosphere, log fire. Great selection of drinks. And the food was excellent. Paninis are excellent with chips and homemade coleslaw. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Wolsingham.

Booked a table for two for Sunday lunch on a cold wet December day. The team there were great and we ordered a beef and a turkey lunch with a broccoli cheese side for an extra £1.50. It was delicious and came with a good size boat of extra yummy gravy. Every part of the meal hit just the right spot. Sadly we were too full to try the dessert menu but it looked excellent and very reasonably priced. We finished our drinks in the bar in front of the roaring open fire. We throughly enjoyed our visit and we'll definitely be back.

Lovely little find whilst out walking, nice to see an open coal fire and made the bar feel warm and cosey. Staff very friendly and welcoming and even our dog got a treat and doggy beer (aka water). Wasnt intending on eating but decided to have a panini and homemade chips and it was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and the warm chocolate cake and cream was scrummy. Definitely worth a visit !

Had a refreshing pint of moretti to quench my thirst after a day on the Weardale way. Welcoming staff and a nice dog friendly establishment.
