The staff were lovely, but the food wasn’t great, and I had to teach the young lady how to make an orange juice and lemonade, not good that she couldn’t make such a basic drink! Even though the food was 3 portions for our table, it was given together but the food came out at different times. My Naam bread was burnt and like rock, I couldn’t eat it. The gentleman very kindly took it off my bill. I couldn’t understand the difficulties because there were only 3 sets of customers, so the place wasn’t busy? This was our first time eating here, and we came because of the fantastic reviews on Google. I was really surprised by the restrictive menu. Has this pub changed hands because when we arrived we discovered it’s no longer called The Black Bull? Unfortunately we won’t be returning.
Went to their summer event. Left after one pint after not wanting to queue an hour for a drink. "couldn't organise a p up in a brewery" springs to mind. Could/should be a good pub but it's like they are actively not trying hard enough.
Lovely staff, birra moreti pint so fresh and bubbly. Great environment and beautiful decoration. It was a great visit, we reccomend and we will be back! Thank you
Honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Great pub and lovely garden landlord knows his stuff
Great staff, good locally sourced food, prepared fresh daily. This could incur a small wait but remember the food is being made from scratch, this is not the sort of place that microwaves and grills everything
