Could do with a spruce up. It's not very accessibility friendly with the narrow hall, but has quite a few rooms that can be used for parties.
A heady mixture of asbestos, lead paint and officious staff. Went for kids' party in a function area however I wasn't allowed to take my child to the bar for a juice (I assume for some licensing reason) - tricky when you're there alone and the wee one wants a drink. No apologetic approach nor empathy, pretty much just 'get that wean out'. Terrible attitude for somewhere trying to make money from kids parties.
Great club with quite a history. Always a nice atmosphere, good choice of drinks, friendly & hard working bar staff. I unfortunately wasn't part of the culture that started this great club but as similar entities have long since ceased, this one keeps going with drive, determination and an enthusiasm which keeps an gone by tradition very much alive. Keeping with the times but remaining respectful of the past, a better club must be hard to find. You can actually feel it when you enter. Great club, atmosphere with a twist of homeliness and the unseen hard work that goes on in the background makes it exactly that
Pleasant staff we'll run nice member's good place to relax and enjoy a good pint
Great members only place where if you know a member you can sign in up to two people. Fantastic prices and needs more recognition in Bishopton.
