We went to this pub late at night as it was the only one open till 2am. Really lively with music from a DJ, a friendly crowd and excellent service from the staff. Highly recommend visiting this pub.
table top was filthy with something very sticky so easy to become attached to this pub. Had all the charm of a morgue so managed to tear ourselsves free.
Quick Saturday lunchtime pint - decent brew (after returning the first option as being sour)...not at all crowded , welcomed by regulars...would go more often if I lived closer
Caitlin behind the bar was lovely and the drinks where very enjoyable. Not the cheapest drinks in town but great vibe and their food is based on homemade pies which they call the Pieminster Pies. Nice pub great attitude happy to recommend.
Good mid town pub, serves food, more old style, than some of the other pubs, kinda "old style boozer"... Always a warm welcome! Check out their pizzas and pies...!

Our lovely new pub is full of cosy nooks and snugs for lazy days with a pint or two whilst our beautiful brasserie to the rear is open all day everyday serving delicious pub fare with a Gallic twist.

400 year old pub (in parts) with carpeted voluminous L shaped room with bar on right and room at the back. Pool room in centre of pub. Plenty of parking (council car park) found opposite the pub.
