a small cosy pub - we had a lovely Sunday roast there. The lamb and the beef were perfect, and the roast potatoes and parsnips fab too. Special mention also to the lovely cheesy cauli cheese. We went there after a ride on the WSR steam train - glad we picked this pub for our lunch. price for 2 pints and 3 roasts was under £50 as well - we'll be back!

Parking available at the rear of the pub accessible on the left hand side. The menu and food was stunning both in quantity and quality, with all 4 of the meals we had exceeding expectation. Drink prices are reasonable and atmosphere was good. Pub garden to the rear with plenty of space. Pub has a cute greyhound wondering around which we assumed belonged to the owner
