The Bird In Hand is the second of three restaurants for restaurateur Jasper Gorst. Following on from the success of The Oak in Notting Hill, Jasper set out to find another stunning site to inspire his creative talent and love of great food and wine.
About us
When Jasper took over The Bird in Hand, it was a beautiful building in need of a new lease of life. Set in the heart of Brook Green, Kensington, it has successfully grown into a gem-of-a-restaurant with a great team of staff both on the floor & in the kitchen. With terracotta hues, the unique décor combines restaurant functionality & stylish furnishings – the horseshoe bar placed in the centre of the restaurant creates a lovely atmosphere. The charming staff provide efficient & attentive service to ensure that it is a favourite for locals & visitors alike.
Our small tapas like dishes are created using fresh seasonal produce. They are designed to work alongside our renowned thin crust pizzas, whether you try a couple of small dishes to start followed by a pizza or stick solely to the tapas side of our menu, ordering lots of small plates to share between friends.
