Used The Birch Tree 3 times now, it's a lovely pud to visit, get there early say 6.30ish it's quite busy, then by around 8.30 it's quiet, the staff lovely and friendly, there is a good atmosphere as soon as you walk in the place. I have not sampled the food yet so I cannot comment. Give this place a try you might just like it.
Came for Christmas dinner with my husband and elderly mum. What can I say. WOW just WOW. Service outstanding Meals all outstanding Atmosphere outstanding Presentation outstanding too Honestly could give a high enough recommendation. Thank you for making our Xmas dinner so special.
Came here for some food and drinks and honestly was pleasantly surprised at the decor and how quick they managed to find us a table for a walk in. However, this is sorta why they got three stars instead of 5. Overall the food wasn't too expensive but for what it was and having a rock hard brioche for my plant burger and a non med/rare steak for the accompanied party wasn't great. Although the drinks service was good as was the food service. All was good but the standard of food was not worth the price.
As a regular visitor of The Birch Tree, I visited last night to try one of their new dishes on the menu, I opted for the Chicken Shawarma, lovely tender pieces of chicken with a delicious taste of Indian spices. Loved every mouthful. Brilliant service, food and company as usual.
Absolutely amazing food. Me & my partner went on a Sunday as highly recommended by friends and family. We had a beautiful 2 course meal which was absolutely beautiful. They made us feel welcoming and assured we felt comfortable. The staff where very friendly and ready to help if and when needed. Lovely place and atmosphere, will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
