Located in the heart of Wokingham, The Rose Inn is a welcoming pub to the local community. Serving fresh food menu inspired by the Mediterranean, traceable from field to fork, along with daily specials, dishes include steaks and fish cooked in our charcoal-fuelled grill, as well as authentic Neapolitan pizzas cooked in our wood-fired oven, pasta dishes and home comforts. For families, our bespoke children’s menu with accompanying activity pack offers a variety of choices, whilst most dietary requirements are met with ease.

My wife and I had a wonderful Saturday lunch. The food was excellent. Clearly made with high quality products and skill. Alongside this was the competent and friendly service in a well presented and maintained restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. A wonderful birthday experience indeed.
Lovely pub with warm friendly staff. Very generous portion sizes so be aware, the cauliflower cheese was meant to be shared. It did take quite a while to place an order for drinks and food, in fact we had to ask the waiter if he would take our order. Other than that, the food was served hot. There were a few gluten-free options but not a huge amount. If I hadn't wanted a roast I would have been stuck for something to eat.
We came here for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic. Hot and tasty. We did have to wait quite a while for our lunch, but that was sorted out, and it was worth the wait. The team here are fabulous. Friendly and helpful. A credit to the Rose. The Interior is lovely, modern restaurant, cosy drinking area and nice outside when warm enough. Great atmosphere. Thank you, we will be back.
This place was highly recommended by my friend. The level of customer service we received was fantastic. The staff are welcoming, friendly, polite, and attentive. There is a fun food menu for the kids. The chef made bunny rabbit pizzas as well as a non dairy pizza for my friends' children. There is a good selection of wine and food from the main menu and options for vegetarians and vegans. My friend has been to The Rose Inn on a few occasions and highly recommends the food. You will not be disappointed, this place is known for their pizzas they are light and cooked to perfection. The salads are fantastic, as well as the burgers. Portions are generous, and you definitely get your money's worth. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can tell the quality of ingredients used. It was a nice family meal, definitely will be back again.

The pork dish was also a standout, with great flavor, though some might miss the crispy skin. The burger and salad were good, but not particularly remarkable. If you're a wine lover, the Rose Inn also offers a decent selection to choose from. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a date night or a lively atmosphere to catch up with friends, the Rose Inn has you covered. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the mood for some amazing pizza.
