Amazing dinner, food was generally exceptional and service was great! Lovely touch giving a birthday card and cake, very thoughtful. The cheese doughnuts were so tasty and the chicken, bread and butter was very unique and delicious. The mains of featherblade beef and yellow cod curry were the highlights and with a side of millionaire potatoes, the crispiest most delicious potatoes. Dessert was a little disappointing, the tiramisu was made of ice cream and I was expecting it to be a bit more traditional. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu.
Unexpected evening with my partner. We did not know that dogs are welcome, and after we released we went home and bring our beloved with us… what is extremely important to us. And from arriving to restaurant our evening was amazing till last second Food - outstanding…. Service - absolutely friendly, careful and with high standards ( Josh and Lottie) did great with us. We went home with full stomach, absolutely amazed feelings and really good spent evening feeling Just wanted to thank all team for amazing evening and definitely we will be back…
Came along for my 50th birthday treat with my brother 26th Jan, and was greeted with a birthday card . The servers were really welcoming and friendly and wished me happy birthday. The food was amazing. You all must try "Mother " best dish I have ever had and have been to a lot of Michelin restaurants 😋 Also, the millionaire potatoes. Like many before us we visited adter seeing Adam Handling on the Great British Menu. We chose Sunday lunch on a day when we arrived in torrential rain. Fortunately it was warm inside and we soon forgot about the weather. Service was good throughout I had the chicken parfait which was as pretty as it was delicious to eat. Followed by beef Wellington. I very much enjoyed the Wellington and the roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. My husband had the pork belly and the meat was a good portion, but I especially liked being able to ask for more vegetables. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry. My husband had the Christmas pudding. The parfait was a bit solid so crushed the Christmas pudding beneath it as you tried to cut it. The toilets were in need of a bit of attention, dusty corners and soap dispensers looking a bit sad.
Incredible tasting menu dining experience. Food was exquisite in design, storytelling, flavour and value for money. Our waitress Hetta deserves extra recognition for her amazing enthusiasm, remembering what we were celebrating, attentiveness with all food and drink stories and friendliness and professionalism!! Thank you so much for an amazing dinner to celebrate our engagement
