Created from a collaboration between St Austell Brewery in Cornwall and Harpoon Brewery in Boston, the inception of this terrific ale began as a fact-finding project by visitors of Harpoon Brewery into brewing in the UK, and the journey continued when St Austell’s Head brewer, Roger Ryman made a return visit to the States.
Boasting all British ingredients, Skipper combines the best of British brewing with the flair of our US counterparts to create a wonderfully, full-bodied amber ale featuring assertive bitter notes, followed by rich fruit aromas of summer fruits, blackcurrant and lychee.
We’re certain you’ll fall in love with this limited edition classic pale ale with a contemporary twist. Join us from early May when we’ll be serving up Skipper at The Carpenter's Arms.
