I'm not in any way a posh chap, but that was lower than any expectation, old, in desperate need for a redecoration and new sittings
Being that it's a sports bar and that most of the patrons are male there is no food available but the service is good and the atmosphere is excellent.
Recently moved to Thatcham. I had been to Paggies Bar a handful of times, but now I rarely go anywhere else. It is more like a Club, a very social club and reminds me to a degree of "The Winchester Club in "Minder" To sum up: a brilliant Music & Sports venue. Guinness £4.00 per pint! Pedro MAS
Nice place, music, sport on big screens, friendly staff and customers. What's not to like? Sure to visit again.
Best value drink prices for miles around, excellent bar with very kind and genuine regulars. Open from 10am each day of the week. The owner makes a huge effort to ensure that the service from staff is personal and genial. Great atmosphere, wide variety of spirits and lagers. Fantastic place.
