Large and well-positioned pub that has suffered from poor stewardship in the past. It was refurbished and re-opened on December 16th 2016. There's now a comfortable ambience, food and a large garden.

Good to watch sports. Various screens playing different channels. Beer cheap and staff friendly. Not tried eating there so no idea on that front.
The woman with the dark brown/black hair must be the rudest bar staff I've ever met. Really don't go to this pub. Much friendly ones in the area.
WOW, what an improvement! Since reopening it has become a jolly nice place to come for a drink of an eve. It is bright, crisp and clean and look forward to when the restaurant side opens! Tilehurst has needed a pub like this for years!

Locals pub situated on the Tilehurst Triangle. Darts and pool. No meals served but homemade rolls at a very reasonable price. Live music and jukebox when not!
