My Goodness, I just ate here and it's amazing. The food is fresh hot and very very tasty. One of the best take outs I've ever eaten in. Looks like they cook from fresh. The staff were very patient as it was my first time ordering and helped me choose. Very nice food, very nice and good people, loved it.
Family friendly, lovely staff, great beer garden. Proper gastropub
Very nice pub. We love the outside space. Food is great, staff is very friendly and made us feel at home.I would highly recommend going. 5 stars!
Disappointed, this was such a consistently good restaurant, but sadly the owners have changed after 25 years, and not sure if the new owners are having teething problems? Food mediocre, roast dinner basic, not fresh veg. Tomato and avocado salad with goats cheese was 90% lettuce, half a tomato and goats cheese very soggy. Ladies toilet had one out of two working, and the one they said was working didn't flush, and the door was so far off its hinges the lock was about 6"away from where it should have been, and the tap on wash basin didn't turn off! Reported it to landlord who said he knew about it and I could have used the disabled one. Would have been useful to know before I went in there! Won't be going back in a hurry, as feel the toilets should have been a priority before reopening.
Lovely pub garden, super dog friendly and the staff are really welcoming. Generous portions here, be mindful if you were planning for pudding!

Located to west of the village, the Waggon combines a good mix of country pub ambience (flagstone floor, low wooden beamed ceiling, big garden with an aviary and Wendy house) and a modern outlook.
