We have a roaring open fire and low beamed ceilings with a lovely homely feeling throughout. With local ales, a long wine list and ice cold beer the bar often upholds a lively, friendly feeling. The menu choices are extensive and with the only tapas menu in Cookham, you will have a truly unique meal with us! Relax with friends and family with a drink on the sofas in the conservatory or surround a table by the fire for some great traditional pub food!.
Good pub with friendly staff and a good menu that has about 8 different starters and 8 or so mains. They accommodated our table of 9 with ease, great service for drinks. Plenty of tables The car park was a little busy, but that can only really be a good sign..
Been here a few times to eat. The food has always been really good, home cooked food. The staff are really lovely and all give excellent service. Went here again last October, but quite disappointed. The food was not up to the usual standard and felt rushed. Such a shame, Will think twice about going again now 😕
Great selection on beer, reasonable prices. Food is great, would very much recommend Sunday lunch and breakfast. Great, thanks.
Have visited a few times now with my partner, we love coming here. We’ve tried the roasts, lunch, and dinner menu. The pub is beautifully decorated, friendly staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend :)
I really enjoyed most of my visit to The Old Swan Uppers this week. Sitting outside with a pint of Black Sheep watching the world go by. Then very good tapas from their blackboard selection. The only downside for me - and I appreciate that this is a personal opinion - was seeing dogs on the seats inside and serving staff petting dogs. No seat covers in evidence or of hands being washed afterwards. So my review is down one star as a result. Cookham itself was a tremendous village to visit on my cycling tour of the Thames Valley.
