Stumbled upon the pub after a walk & so glad we found it. Friendly service & great good sitting by a real fire. Perfect. Would definitely recommend & hope we'll be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the steak and ale pie was really delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the open fire very cheery on a cold night. Dog friendly pub.
Lovely pub with a view of the local aqueduct. Amazing food. We tried to book for Sunday lunch but no space till 4pm. It was well worth the wait - one of the best Sunday lunches we've ever had, and good size portions. Thank you very much 😊

Very welcoming and friendly staff, great food in huge portions. It was very busy when we visited on Saturday evening so advise booking ahead. Made use and our dogs feel very welcome and we were served promptly in spite of every table being occupied. Highly recommend and definitely worth a visit
