A must visit if you’re interested in late-Victorian Edinburgh pub architecture. We must be thankful that many of its original features have been retained.
Looks old school, completely different to any pub in Australia.. service was quick and beer, well, it poured like a Guinness and was delicious. I saw food there which liked fine but it was the beer we were after..
Cracking friendly bar with good selection of ales and spirits. Original 1850s look bar. Wealth of knowledge behind the bar.
Lovely old bar tucked away from the crowds. Like stepping back in time. A proper bar, with proper Scots ales, and a massive selection of spirits. The staff are really friendly and very understanding. Worth a wee visit if you're in the area and thirsty.
This is my favourite place for Whisky cravings They got such an amazing collection I was astonished. Personally they had my all favourite whisky collection They got shinning knight on the cask ales. Yet not to forget it's pricy a bit. Because I wanted to have Rasmay it was £7 something for a shot.
