Called in here after a delicious meal at El Jefe just down the road on my way back to the hotel. Recommended by the staff at El Jefe, they mentioned local and whiskey...and both were on point. An amazing selection of options for a novice, with friendly staff who were happy to guide my choices. Plus the added (significant) bonus of some live trad music. Excellent. A real mix of players all synced with each other - what a treat.
This is a cosy and authentic bar for trying some good Scottish whiskies as well as other drinks. They helped us to find what we were looking for among all the available options they had! Nice staff and atmosphere for having a cosy evening in one of the famous Glasgow neighborhood!
Small corner pub. 2 h/ pulls. Large selection of malt whisky. Happy staff + folk music. Very good feel to the pub.
In the same design style as The Lismore and Oran Mor it has a fantastic Scottish interior of wood and bare stone. Loads of malts to try and super friendly staff. It gets busy but it’s a great pub
A great bar with an excellent atmosphere. The staff are super welcoming and knowledgeable. The whisky selection is fantastic. The bar is dog-friendly too - although space is limited as it's a tiny place that gets busy very quickly.

Next to its sister establishments Mono, Stereo, The Old Hairdresser’s and The Flying Duck, and it’s new East-coast cousin Harmonium, The 78 is something of an odd one out.
