It was a Christmas get together for a large group and we had great service in a warm friendly pub, but the food was only average at ours best. They certainly could do better on the food. I would go back for a meet up but not to eat if I had a choice
Had the festive meal for 26 adults for my mother-in-laws 90th birthday. Well what can I say £34 for 3 courses £30 for 2 courses. Very disappointed with the meal, only 1 sliver of a carrot 1 sliver of a parsnip no festive vegetables on table no Brussels no Yorkshire puds. I had the steak which was £40 came with a few chips and very little else. Service was poor. The best bit was the bill. Total £850. I paid a deposit in November of £260. When the bill arrived the deposit wasn’t taken off. When I questioned this they said it had not been paid. I then had to go through my banking app to prove it had been paid. How embarrassing in front of the customers there. Seriously think you need to update your system. Disgusting behaviour by staff. Will never ever come back here again. Better festive menu at the harvester £15 cheaper and more choice and much better service.
Wow. Good and atmosphere was amazing. First time visiting for a birthday meal and will definitely be returning. The food was outstanding and the staff were so lovely
Wow, we had a great time here in the Garden area. The roast dinner was very yummy and plenty of meat. Also the Halloumi Salad was a good portion. The staff were very helpful and could not do more for you. We will be back soon.
Homely and nicely decorated village pub, dog friendly, fully air-conditioned and decent sized back garden. Food quality is good though portion size maybe towards the medium/small size (for roast). Service hit and missed but it's the same everywhere. Parking at the street
