Stayed overnight in the Premier inn next door. Breakfast here was lovely and such a choice, plus you literally could eat as much as you wanted. Staff couldn't do enough for you and even let us finish our drinks while they cleaned up the night before. Would highly recommend both the hotel and definitely the Beefeater restaurant .

We had Christmas dinner here today, the food was amazing! Well done to the chefs! The waiting staff were not so amazing though and could have made an excellent meal an exceptional experience, hopefully this will be addressed and resolved moving forward I will be coming back for the food but hope the waiters brush up

Food was good, I think our server was new as he didn't ask a lot of the questions that you would expect when we ordered but he did a good job. The thing that let it down was that they had booked someone else on to the table immediately after us which meant our meal was very rushed at the end which considering the bill was just under £300 (likely would have been over if we hadn't been rushed off) was a bit of a blow at Christmas time. Even worse was they told the party after us that we were on their table (we hadn't even left yet) and then the other party came over and started harassing us to move on because they had booked it. We booked it too, well over a month prior to the event. It's just disappointing planning on part of the management and meant a rather sour note at the end of an otherwise pleasant experience even with the few points of improvement.

Steak was cooked to perfection and meals were lovely, only down side I was a bit disappointed with the amount of pawns I add to my steak, 2 prawns for and extra £5! A bit tight I thought @ £2.50 a prawn!

Great place for evening outing. Fully booked and had to use the bar session. Used beefeater for years and had my fav - mixed grill for a birthday retreat
