Really consider your options before paying to rent this space for your special occasion. A member of staff left me in tears minutes before my event began.
Beautiful bar for Wells beers and views of the river.
The rowing club is a really friendly location the bar staff are really fun and really accommodating to your needs. Really great selection of beer and drinks. Cooked breakfast was fantastic and really great value. The best part is the view from the balcony you can just see some of the best bits of Bedford and of course enjoy the river.

The pub is underrated. It is on Duck Mill Lane but you can access it easily via the emankment. We sat on the balcony and had some beautiful views of the Great River Ouse. It looks stunning at night time. Drinks were very reasonable and didn't break the bank. Staff are friendly and it wasn't too busy at 6.30pm. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet drink in the sun in Bedford Town.
