Came for lunch on a Tuesday and had a lovely carvery. Nice and hot, beef/turkey and nice veg and gravy. Great golden syrup sponge for dessert. Good service too.
Very good pub grub and a well-kept pint of Guinness.
Scruffy , old fashioned Pub , very much for locals only ,, In character with it's location and age , doesn't need to be changed, busy and friendly atmosphere,, staff , a bit sparse , hence , too busy to be friendly generally.
Booked Sunday lunch for 6 people. Food was very good and with all the trimmings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be going back!
Great traditional public house. The staff were great and the beer was excellent.
