Over several visits since Will has been running the pub I have found the staff to be happier, more chatty, and welcoming. The food has always been as good as can be, given what is available on the menu. Some of the new items have been very well presented and enjoyed. The newly refurbished pool table is great to play on and the ability to have different sports/matches on different screens has always been a good reason to watch any sport at "the bear". I'm looking forward to watching the six nations rugby there.

Amazing food. Lovely place to eat and have a drink and chat. All the staff are so lovely even the managers will have a chat with you. Child friendly as well.

Had a fantastic lunch on Saturday, 10 of us and all the food came out at the same time, the manager could not do enough for us. The food was excellent as was the service, would definitely recommend.

Had a chat with will the manager. He is a wonderful guy very friendly and helpful. First time me and my wife have come here and will definitely come back again on our travels. The share with friends was an amazing dish so compliments to the chef. Overall loved this place and a big well done to all the staff. Your new loyal customers Steve & emma

I have eaten here several times and it has been good, but just had the best cooked dinner in a pub ever. If that was three times the price in a Michelin stars restaurant I would not complained. Everything was cooked perfectly.
