For almost 250 years The Bay Horse has welcomed guests to this beautiful Grade II listed Tudor tavern. Set in the heart of historic Moulsham Street, the building has been lovingly restored and renovated, combining modern design with period features to create a bright and airy space.
A lively split level pub, with an outside drinking area, only a single ale served, band playing on this Friday night.
Went to a jam night to see friends, great house band, supporting singers and musicians alike big repertoire and able to work through new songs. Great beer, and it was fun to play pool - the table (admittedly small) is still £1 a game... Some friendly colourful characters, a great time.
Jolly atmosphere and when I went in some great musicians were playing. The Bay Horse is my favourite place...and they've a pool table.
The atmosphere in this place is amazing plus they have a variety of entertainment. They even have a tarot reader on a Monday night, well worth a visit, enjoy a pint whilst also sorting your life out! can't be bad. Nice one Bay Horse :)
Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Live music on the weekends and quite a friendly local crowd. Seasonal food menus made with local ingredients
