We held a wake at the Basingstoke Sports and Social Club and extremely happy with the venue and services offered. The venue is shared with Greek Street - Snezana Catering and both parties made our guests comfortable and welcomed. Greek Street provided a cold buffet, tea and coffee and it was worth every penny spent. Highly recommend caterers. They also provided music and plenty of seating. The Social club offered bar service for drinks and also had seating if required. This is a great venue and I highly recommend the socai club and Greek Street for holding a gathering of around 50 people.
Friendliest sports club in Berkshire! Decor not great but that doesn't matter, been quite a few times playing on squash teams and love the place. Easy parking (mind the evil speed bumps), good beer, very welcoming.
