We visit the Barrbridge every two weeks and we have never had a bad meal. The fish is delicious although I do like the burgers too. Here for breakfast just now and it’s just as good as the main menu. Not many of these types of places where you can get a square sausage and a potato scone. As always, the girls working and really friendly and we just love coming here. Keep up the good work!

Had the breakfast wrap was lovely. Could easily eat two. Went for dinner years ago in the sports bar 🍸. The food was good, especially for the price. Lovely cold pint as well.

We were early for a gig elsewhere in the leisure park, so we went here for coffee and also indulged in what turned out to be very large portions of chocolate fudge cake. We had no main course food but saw plenty being delivered to other tables. Portions in general are generous. The menu is huge offering , Scottish breakfast, burgers steak pie fish & chips Indian and italian choices, along with grills and steaks. There are great different daily deals,EG Twofers. Free starter Pudding on one day. Best of all is two sunday roast lunches for around £16. Staff were very attentive and friendly. This is part of the Hungry horse chain, so it would be easy to dismiss it as A N Other chain pub but that would be really unfair as its far superior to that. Perfect for family outings, celebrations couples in fact anyone looking for quality food at great prices.

Had some dinner here this evening, the staff were friendly and welcoming unfortunately the food is of very poor standards, the starter of chicken strips were far too greasy, the main a mixed grill was awful a tiny piece of steak, the chicken was awful think it's frozen cheap nonsense same with sausages, peas were hard so was pineapple I think if they maybe sourced a bit more quality meats and food this place can be so much better, unfortunately would not eat here again until standards raised.

If I could rate some of the above nil stars, I absolutely would of. My reviews are always based on personal experience at the time and do not reflect every meal, staff member or even daily experience however this was not a good day. My family decided to pop in here for a late lunch, early dinner on Monday after a day of bowling and to be honest I wished I just ordered food from the bowling. Let's start with atmosphere. The entire place is filthy. There is dust everywhere and the seats haven't seen hot soapy water in a long time. The walls are all cracked and the paint work desperately needs to be redone. We sat in a corner next to a small white wall which had at least 1cm of dust on it and water marks on the wall behind my daughter. The toilets are not being monitored regularly. The taps are broken and there is marks all over the walls. The stall doors are broken and toilets aren't cleaned regularly. All in all the hygiene is very poorly kept up with. The food was cold when it arrived at the table which is unusual as the food actually came out very quickly but any time we tried to discreetly get a waitresses attention we were ignored. The apart blue steak was medium rare at best and the cheese sauce that came with it wasn't a sauce but a big cheese clump that peeled off the steak in one. The veg around it appeared to be frozen peppers which were bland with very little seasoning. The cutlery had marks over it served in a dirty metal bucket. The waitress that did come over wasn't interested in anything we tried to ask her but instead started clearing away plates whist a party member was still eating which resulted in a loss of appetite. We had to chase up our daughters sweet and felt as though we were being rushed out. Can't say we'll be back until the place is cleaned and staff are retrained especially in social etiquette. My daughter did not need to hear a staff member talking about recreational activities when trying to eat.
