Lovely country pub Victorian-esque interior. Really reasonable prices and Simo. The bartender is the best, a gentleman and all round good craic. Fabulous bar would defo visit again!
I was a regular here for many years. Since Britannia Hotels appointed the current "manager" it is very hit and miss and this obviously reflects on the quality of the beer. No customers = no sales = beer gone off. So sad.
If you want a Fawlty Towers experience (staff were lovely) and want to visit a bar that seems to have never ever changed, that serves quality ales.... Give it a go.... But don't expect bling neon... I love it 🍻👍
Brilliant bar area. For an afternoon out in the town. Not crowded and great selection of beers. Just off main thoroughfare. Only went in bar....
O.K bar within Scarisbrick Hotel. Beer during my visit not suited to my palette. Mostly light coloured and low strength. Lighting needs considerable improvement. Couldn't read my newspaper.
