We didn't eat here but the the place was spacious with american style dinar booths and funny urinals. The staff were super, prices reasonable and it's meant to get really busy and lively at night with projector light displays etc.
Bar atmosphere really cool and fun. Cloakroom lady so horrible, just out right nasty for no reason. So unpleasant and rude when we asked her a simple question and completely ruined our evening as made us feel so insignificant.
As an evening bar/club, I cannot recommend. Bartenders were incredibly rude barring the short-haired lady manning the front of the bar. I understand it’s busy and don’t care if staff is curt or slow, but outwardly ignoring patrons for 20 minutes and skipping over them in taking drink orders, only to throw a napkin at them once they lock eyes, is beyond disrespectful. My friend and I were completely sober (though perhaps a little jet lagged) so weren’t refused service for being too drunk/inconsiderate of other patrons. Lots of casual homophobia and active shoving (not just pushing by) by other patrons, weak drinks. Good music though and I’m happy they were one of the few places open on 12/23, but won’t be returning and don’t recommend others to visit!
I have never returned unhappy or unsatisfied from this place. This is one if those pubs where you generally party with adults. Good vibe and great service, always a perfect night out for me here. They do have cloak room downstairs so do layer up solid during winters! ❄️❄️
I booked a table there for my birthday. As me and my friends arrived we were rudely rejected, suggested we are intoxicated, and should go for a coffee. As for a Friday night and birthday, it is absolutely normal to be in high spirits and a little tipsy and no valid reason to reject anyone.
